Hunters deriving from an old Ryonic Order class of assassins, Venators serve as some of the best stealth, reconnaissance, field, and light fighting units there are. Venators often work with a specific government or powerful figure for assassination or information collecting.

Skill Expertise

Drone Proficiency
You are an adept at working with drones, as such, you are capable of manifesting drones on the fly, utilizing self-forming Ki'Thal drone designs. At base level, you are able to refer to Base Drone Carapaces, Base Drone Armaments, Base Drone Cores, and Base Drone Augments, utilizing one item from all five lists to create a custom drone. or, you may refer to the Base Drone Customizations to get a pre-made drone.
Drone HP is calculated by a percentage of your Venator health + Archetype health. Meaning a drone with a Tread Carapace and Tough Core would have 130% health, which would grant your drone (ARCHETYPE_HP + VENATOR_HP) * 1.3 health. Drones go directly after your turn, and have their own Action Point pool of 4 points. All drones are small, and can interact with the world in your stead. As long as you are not rendered Blinded or Deafened, you are able to see and/or hear from your drone. Drone Armament attack stats are increased with Proficiency.
Actions:
- Manifest a new drone (2 Action Points, Action available up to
PROFamount of times per Long Rest) - Morph current drone (3 Action Points, Keeps current remaining health percent)
- Heal drone (3 Action Points, Roguish Dice heal, can do
PROFtimes per Medium Rest)
Drone Actions:
- Move (1 Action Point) Allow the drone to move
- Overdrive (1 Action Point) Doubles drone move speed
- Weapon (Determined by Armament) use the armament's attack
- Overclock (Determined by Armament) Use an Armament's special attack
- Hide (1 Action Point) take the hide Action

Specialty Selection
Scout
Scouts are the best Venators for multitasking in battle and utilizing drones to their advantage. Forgoing their stealth benefits, Scouts cause chaos with drones to quickly gain the upperhand.
Reconnaissance Expert
Some actions are improved for Scout.
- Dash Action now doubles movement speed for each Action Point
- Morphing a drone costs 1 less Action Point
- Healing a drone costs 1 less Action Point
In addition, you gain a Location of Prowess to buff yourself and your drone.
- Arid Climates: Heat Damage resistance (Drone + You)
- Frigid Climates: Cold Damage resistance (Drone + You)
- Boggy Climates: Miasma Damage resistance (Drone + You)
Ronin
Taking stealth as their primary focus, Ronin Venators hunt in shadows, using silent drones to hack and take out the enemy. Acting fast and taking stealth attacks, the Ronin is a terrifying foe.
Shadow Touched
Some actions are improved for Ronin.
- Hide Action is now 1 Action Point
- Disengage Action is now 1 Action Point
- Dash Action now doubles movement speed for each Action Point
In addition, you gain a stealth attack modifier. When you have advantage to hit an enemy or they don't see you, you may add Roguish Dice to your damage roll once per turn. If using a gun, the enemy must either be in long range or the gun must be silent.
