Saving Throws
Saving throws are a separate kind of skill check made when a creature is in danger of taking a negative effect, so they must make a saving throw to get out of the effect's way. Each saving throw can be summed up to:
- Strength Saving Throw: Holding back an attacker's strike
- Dexterity Saving Throw: Dodging out of the way of an attack
- Constitution Saving Throw: An immune system blocking a virus
- Intelligence Saving Throw: Comprehending the unknowable
- Wisdom Saving Throw: Clearing your mind to avoid mind control
- Charisma Saving Throw: Overpowering your own mind
