Compact Pistol
Description
Finding its beginnings in the early 10th century, the Compact Pistol is an old but gold sidearm. First thought to have been used by the last of the Cælum Dominion Crusaders only a few decades before they stopped being used, the compact pistol has found its way into every army's hands. Popularized during the Great War, the Apiostatic Empire and Cælum Dominion outfitted nearly every soldier, medic, and even courier with this gun. Without the required usage of a clockwork firing rotation, the gun rarely broke down when muddied, and as such, worked perfectly on a realistic field.
Still used today, with minimal differences, only now having a safety and better stabilization technology, the compact pistol can be found from Denunciator to average citizen all the way to a lot of Imperators owning one as well. The gun, while remaining close to the same in function, has had major style shifts over the centuries. From the basic wooden flintlock design that crusaders wielded, to the sturdy yet ugly Apiostatic sidearms, this gun now finds itself typically being a little bigger than a Machine Pistol, with a more boxy outline. The gun has a large, sturdy barrel, and a large cocking piston. Typically, the gun will be found in shades of black and grey.

Machine Pistol
Description
First created in the Great War by the Apiostatic Empire, the Machine Pistol was created very similarly to the Burst Fire Rifle, in that it first worked on a clockwork firing rotation. At the time, the design was revolutionary, but tended to perform very poorly. It featured the exact same issue of relying on the ticking clock within, which ticked every second, leading to a slow firing rate, of around 1 second per bullet. This would also lead to issues of the clock running out of battery, mud caking the gears, or water completely rusting the inner workings. This lead to the gun being reserved primarily for the lower ranking officers of the Apiostatic military, as higher ups much rather would have a handy revolver, and the average solder would rather keep a stock pistol.
Nowadays of course, the Machine Pistol and Burst Fire Rifle alike both run on an intricate and durable timer precision rotation, causing them to fire at a much faster rate, more akin to automatic rifles that we see today. You'll still find them all around the globe, especially popularized in Nova Rheon for their old yet newly effective designs. Typically, they will be found in shades of brown, or still manufactured using wood, but some newer models use steel for the frame. They have a thin handle, ovular cylindrical base, a thin yet sturdy barrel, and a magazine just barely shorter than the handle.

Revolver
Description
Developed around the 9th century, revolvers are an old weapon. They were first used by Zafira and Reaven, the two neighbouring countries in the Great Plateau region. When these countries were countries were conquered in the 9th century, they had forms of revolvers, but never more effective than a bow was at the time, thus, the popularity did not spread fast. When these guns were stronger, and could put more holes in a person than a bow in half the speed, the Cælum Dominion was still none the wiser. It was not until the 10th century when these weapons were finally popularized, when Dominion couriers took note of the gun's power, and began working on their own version, the flintlock Compact Pistol. In terms of appearance, nowadays a revolver will look like a smaller pistol with a black metal cylinder where 7 bullets are stored, with a small nosed barrel. The handle is a curved, sleek, mahogany wood typically, as it is found in abundance to the Northeast of Zafira.

A small navy blue pistol with a black hand grip. Possesses a yellow lightning sign painted over the safety cap. Created in the early 15th century, the taser is a policing weapon utilized by Nova Rheon Denunciators, and picked up by Police units around the globe. Due to the quick shot, and accurate yet safe shocking detainment possibilities that this weapon brings, it has quickly become a favoured weapon to bring true justice to criminals everywhere.
